This is a little something something that I came up with as a dedication to the DJs around the world. I keep saying that, "Last night a DJ ruined my life...LOL" I say that because, this is a tough job!!! I got hooked from listening to DJ Uncle Jam at the Conway Skating Rink and on KUCA 91.3 FM. Not to forget or leave out, DJ Dr. Feelgood and DJ Special K at Club Cameo in NLR. They inspired me to jump into this business but, they didn't tell me how hard it was going to be. It's amazing to know that a DJ (Kool Herk) invented what we know today as Hip-Hop but, DJs are the ones that get shitted on the most. How can someone offer a DJ $100 to DJ a gig for 4-7 hours. A DJ will never be able to recoup the initial investment in equipment let alone make a profit. Go figure, huh? Plus, have you ever picked up a speaker or a rack full of amps or felt how heavy turntables are? Anyway, this is my dedication to the DJs (especially mobile DJs)...
