What's good, Good People? DJ Smooth Kool is a versa-style DJ/Audio Recording Engineer/Producer/Rap Artist...and still will shake a leg every now and then. My purpose on this Earth is to enlighten via whatever it takes. DJ Smooth Kool is the summation of research and development in addition to experiences that are both common to the general population and unique to the individual all wrapped into one. My influences reach far back to the pioneers of the mid-80's all the way to the present. When I drop it, I like to use my Logic. When I feel like acting a fool, I like to use my Pro Tools. I'm knowledgeable and well rounded when it comes to the tools of the industry. Whether it's cooking up another mixtape, producing a banging track, scratching live, etc., Smooth Kool is down for the task. With the ways of the world currently, I like to spit political in front of some neo-jazz flava but, I'll rock any concept that stimulates the mind. Now let's get on wit it!!!
